Therapy for professionals and entrepreneurs
Psychologist in Orlando
Compassionate, evidence-based therapy to help you grow yourself and your career.
Does it feel like the successful person others see doesn't always match how you feel inside?
Maybe you’re an ambitious professional.
You chose this career because the idea of helping people and changing the world lit you up inside, but now that flame is burning out.
After years of training and education, missed milestones, and delayed gratification, you’re finally working in the field and it’s not what you imagined. There’s not enough time in the day, or resources, to do the kind of work you can feel proud of.
You overthink, overwork, and overcommit. It’s exhausting. You have a feeling you’re contributing to your own stress, but you don’t know how to “do less.”
Or perhaps you’re a driven entrepreneur.
You’re full of ideas about how to better your life and the lives of those around you. Leaving the 9-5 to start a business felt totally aligned; it was an opportunity for freedom and fulfillment. You knew it wouldn’t be easy, but it’s hard in ways you didn’t expect.
You’re tired of making so many decisions and worrying if you’re doing everything “right.” You find yourself on top of the world when things in business are going well and then surprisingly shaken when things slow down or don’t go as planned.
You know the success of your business isn’t a statement about your worth as a person, but sometimes it’s tough to tell the difference.
Hi, I’m Dr. Samantha, an Orlando psychologist. I help ambitious adults manage stress & anxiety so they can actually live the life they dreamed of.
I’m a licensed psychologist in Orlando and a recovering perfectionist. I know what it’s like to work so hard toward your goals that you lose yourself a little along the way.
I started my own practice because I was (literally) sick of toxic systems that perpetuate overwork and normalize chronic, unmanaged stress. I was determined to make a living that doesn’t interfere with living…and I have!
If you’re a Type A person who is overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or self-doubt, I understand the pressures you’re facing. I would love to help you drop the struggle with anxiety and stress so you can be present and do more of the things you care about.
Manage Stress
Stress is a normal part of life, but living with high stress doesn’t have to be your norm, even if you work in a high stress profession. In therapy, we’ll get a clear picture of your symptoms, stressors, and strategies for coping, so you can feel more confident managing stress and preventing burnout.
Accept Anxiety
Anxiety is a common experience for ambitious Type A’s. Symptoms can include worrying, feeling tense, having a hard time relaxing, sleep problems, social comparison, and productivity guilt. If these things keep you from fully enjoying your life, you deserve relief. Therapy can help you relate to your anxiety differently, giving you back control of your life.
Strengthen Self-Esteem
You might feel pretty good about yourself overall until certain situations trigger self-doubt, insecurity, feelings of failure, or not-enoughness. If you’re hard on yourself when you struggle, it can be even harder to achieve your goals. I can help you act like the person you want to be with compassionate, supportive therapy.
Anxiety and stress make everything feel hard, so I make getting started easy.
STEP 1
Book a stress-free consultation. Hop on a casual call at the day & time you pick to see what it’s like to talk with me. I’ll ask a couple questions to find out how I can help you, and you can ask questions about working with me or therapy in general.
STEP 2
Begin doing the work. Sign onto weekly video sessions from the comfort of your own space. We’ll get to the root of your concerns by uncovering emotions, beliefs, and patterns that get you stuck, so you can make lasting changes.
STEP 3
Experience inner peace and confidence. You’ll learn tools to effectively manage anxiety and stress so you can feel grounded and sure of yourself even when life is uncertain.
Wondering if we’re a good fit?
