  • I’m local to Orlando, Florida and see clients online in 40 states.

I hold a Florida psychologist license and I’m authorized by PSYPACT, the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact Commission, to practice telepsychology in 40 participating states.

  • No, my practice is 100% online. If you know you prefer in-person therapy, I’m probably not the therapist for you.

If you’re hesitant about online therapy because you haven’t tried it or you think it’s not effective, I encourage you to schedule a free consultation so we can chat about your concerns. Generally speaking, online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy.

  • Even though we won’t be meeting face-to-face, I want therapy to feel personal. Here’s what you can expect:

You’ll create a private online account on my practice management platform, Practice Better. This is where you’ll complete online forms, manage scheduling, share files, and send direct messages to me, securely. I typically respond to messages within 24 hours.

We’ll meet live for video sessions using Zoom. I love to use the whiteboard feature for collaborative brainstorming/visualizing, and share my screen when I have helpful resources that relate to our discussion. Sometimes I even send therapy memes in between session if I see something online that makes me think about our work together; I encourage you to do the same!

  • Your first appointment is the intake assessment. It’s a little different than a regular therapy session. I’ll ask a number of questions to get to know and understand you better. I’ll ask about your health, habits, current and past experiences, and goals for therapy. This gives us a foundation to work from.

If you’re using insurance to pay for sessions or to seek reimbursement for sessions, I’ll use information gained from this session to make my initial diagnosis (this can change later).

  • It’s hard to estimate the length of therapy because it depends on so many variables. For more information, visit my investment page and scroll down to the common questions section.

  • I provide seminars and workshops about mental health and wellness for businesses and organizations. Schedule a free consultation for more information, or to begin the booking process.
